HR Assistant
About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, assisting with the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and handling other HR-related tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a passion for supporting the needs of both employees and the HR team.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Maintaining and updating employee records and databases.
- Prepare HR-related documents such as offer letters, contracts, and employment verification letters.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives.
- Manage HR-related enquiries from employees and external parties.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist with benefits enrolment, changes and implementation.
- Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers and a point of contact for questions related to employee benefits.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for HR metrics and analytics.
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations.
Employee Relations:
- Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation.
- Help to foster a positive work environment and company culture.
Recruitment Support:
- Assist with job postings on various platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Considerable experience in a HR support or administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and ATS platforms is a plus.
