Head of Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to join our team as Head of Supply Chain.

You will be responsible for the current supply chains operational management for our contract manufacturing partners in the EU and US.

You will achieve this by building and leading strong supplier relationships to develop the supply chain to ensure supply stability, cost-effectiveness, and product availability.

Responsibilities:

• NPI Supply Chain & Development: Develop new product supply chains and support NPI procurement and tool development.
• Contract Management: Oversee end-to-end contract management processes, ensuring effective negotiation, implementation, and monitoring of contracts for compliance and performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster alignment and collaboration between procurement, R&D and finance.
• Develop integrated strategies to optimise contract manufacturing processes that align with organisational goals, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs across the supply chain.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with contract manufacturing partners to optimise performance, drive innovation, and mitigate risks.
• Plan for future capacity and supplier strategy and engage in key projects such as the global expansion of Petalite.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management etc.
• Significant experience in managing electronics and associated hardware contract manufacturers is preferred. Experience from other high technology sectors can also be considered.
• Able to demonstrate your ability in positively handling supplier relationships within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Influential communication skills: capable of building networks and fostering relationships across all organisational levels.
• Collaborative style both with internal and external business partners.
• Strong commercial skills and full business understanding.
